An important portfolio within Tara Getty Foundation are these organisations that aid and protect the vulnerable, homeless, abused or bereaved. Our grants help them to carry out their valuable, and often urgent work.
We support local and national organisations whose compassionate work helps those in need toward brighter futures by fostering dignity, resilience, and offering modalities for personal growth and healing.

BENEFICIARIES
The King’s Trust
Women Supporting Women was established at The King’s Trust in 2018 to help young women who face disadvantage and adversity to transform their lives. The mission of Women Supporting Women is simple: to nurture, empower and inspire young women to build a better future for themselves. The King’s Trust helps young women to build their confidence and receive support to get into jobs, self-employment, education or training. The King’s Trust provide tailored programmes and long-term support enable young women to develop the practical skills and emotional resilience they need to build a positive future for themselves, no matter what barriers they may be facing.
Spires
Spires is a South London homelessness service that has been working with homeless and disadvantaged people aged 18+ from Lambeth, Croydon, Wandsworth and the surrounding area for over 30 years. The people supported have complex needs ranging from homelessness, insecure accommodation, unemployment, problems with mental and physical health, addiction and substance abuse, domestic abuse or engaged in sex work. The core activities include a day centre, housing support, work & benefits support, women's service, support to access inclusion health servicies and immigration support.
The Olivia Sieff Foundation
The Olivia Sieff Foundation was established by the Sieff family as a legacy to the memory of their beloved Olivia, whose life was tragically cut short by a hit-and-run driver in Cape Town on 30 January 2022. The foundation champions the assistance and protection of abused, neglected, abandoned or abducted children, in accordance with Christian principles. This is a cause that was very close to Olivia’s heart. The foundation will continue the charity work she had planned and, in so doing, fulfil her intentions of making a difference to vulnerable children.
Wycombe Homeless Connection
Wycombe Homeless Connection is a charity that serves people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in south Buckinghamshire. They provide a range of free services to help people who are homeless as well as to help people avoid homelessness including emergency accommodation; a support centre that offers wide ranging help and advice; community outreach walks to connect people to our services; housing legal clinics where people facing a housing crisis can get specialist support to avoid illegal and unfair eviction; help to access health services and much more. Their vision is that south Buckinghamshire is transformed into a place where no one loses their home and that there is suitable housing and housing security for all.
