ABOUT US
Tara Getty Foundation helps influence positive change now, while effecting legacy for future generations.
Tara’s early years growing up in the hills of Italy, and from there to his life in France grounded him in nature, as did farm life for Jessica. This perhaps activated their creative wellspring and shaped their hands-on, practical ways. Nature is the origin from which their lives have evolved and how Tara Getty Foundation has constellated.
Tara Getty Foundation is an integration of conservation, restoration, education, the arts, health and upliftment; a reflection of nature itself and where our humanness interconnects.
Nature is how we start and end our life here on planet Earth and through Tara Getty Foundation, it is Tara and Jessica’s hope to support a little of the in-between!
With over three decades of hands-on involvement in conservation and restoration, Tara and Jessica are able to further this via the foundation, and support others in preserving natural and cultural heritage across both the United Kingdom and Africa.
Founding Tara Getty Foundation in 2015 to amplify their response to more organisations and motivated by their own heritage and family life, Tara and Jessica broadened the foundation’s focus areas to education, and the arts, helping organisations to launch, grow or continue their meaningful work.
Upliftment and health became two more areas of importance, as Tara and Jessica’s heartfelt response, to those facing sickness, poor health, homelessness, food security, domestic abuse, addiction, bereavement, mental health challenges, cancer and associated hardships.
Making grants to charities and their vital work in personal transformation and health, carries Tara and Jessica’s intention to help improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of beneficiaries; affirming the steps of each individual towards healing and a better future.
